VPR Series
A high-percentage outdoor air rooftop ventilator with packaged refrigeration from 5-40 tons. Designed to cool and dehumidify supply air consisting of 100% outdoor air.
VPRE Series
A rooftop energy recovery ventilator with integral packaged refrigeration from 5 to 40 tons. Energy recovery achieved through enthalpy wheel for latent and sensible load reduction.

Construction
- 2-inch foam-injected, double-wall panels create a rigid, efficient, and indoor air quality friendly casing
- Direct-drive plenum fans with factory supplied VFD eliminate the need for belts and sheaves
- Horizontal or vertical discharge and intake for increased installation flexibility
- Hinged access doors provide quick and easy access to service points
|
Cooling
- Integral air-cooled packaged refrigeration for single-source reliability
- Six-row DX coil to ensure moisture removal from supply air
- Modulating hot-gas reheat to temper air after dehumidification
- Minimum of 6-inches of separation between DX and HGRH coil ensure condensate does not re-evaporate into the supply airstream and allows coils to be cleaned
- 304 Stainless steel drain pan for indoor air quality preservation

Controls
-
Microprocessor controls standard on all Valent equipment for single-point wiring and stand-alone operation or BMS integration
- Discharge air control sequence with or without space temperature and humidity reset for comfort control
- Optional variable air volume control modulates fan speed based on space static pressure, duct static pressure, or a 0-10 VDC signal
- Optional constant volume control varies outdoor air and return air damper positions based on space static pressure or CO2 levels
- Optional BACnet, Lonworks, or Modbus communication available on all Valent units

Heating
- Electric heat with SCR controls up to 150 kW
- Indirect gas furnace with 4:1 turndown, modulating valve, and capacity up to 800 MBH
- Temperator system combines a 4:1 IG furnace with small SCR-electric heater to provide true 0-100% heating modulation. Electric heat sized by compressor amperage requirements, eliminating the need for additional fusing.
