LOW MAINTENANCE ENERGY RECOVERY WITH ENTHALPY CORE
Enthalpy core heat exchangers are an effective, low-maintenance energy recovery solution. Often beneficial for schools or facilities with no on-site maintenance staff, these devices provide long-term cost and energy savings for building owners while keeping occupants comfortable and healthy.
RELIABLE, LOW-MAINTENANCE OPERATION
Valent’s enthalpy core solution is ASHRAE 90.1 compliant for sensible and latent heat transfer. These devices are reliable and require very little maintenance which helps keep the HVAC system running efficiently.
- No moving parts like belts or motors that require mechanical maintenance or repair
- Sturdy aluminum frame is corrosion resistant
- Can be cleaned in place within the unit
LOW CROSS CONTAMINATION
Valent offers two types of enthalpy cores, polymer, and fiber. Both types offer low cross contamination (less than 1% EATR per AHRI 1060 testing) due to the crossflow design which creates a continuous, physical barrier between the supply and exhaust airstreams to keep them fully separated. The core also blocks a variety of gases and contaminants, keeping air cleaner for occupants.
