The new VX-412 unit brings more airflow, cooling, and heating capacity to Valent’s line of Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS).
The Valent VX-412 broadens the application flexibility for a DOAS unit by delivering between 8,000 and 29,200 cfm of outdoor air to improve indoor air quality and occupant comfort. It can also provide 50 to 100 tons of packaged direct expansion (DX) cooling using EPA-compliant, environmentally friendly R-454B refrigerant. And the VX-412 delivers 800 to 2,000 mbh of indirect gas heat, which is highly efficient and quick to respond to ventilation-driven heating demands.
Intentional design gives the VX-412 a competitive footprint that fits standard flatbeds, eliminating the need for oversized shipping and reducing freight expenses. Future development for this cabinet will include these additional options Valent is known for: hot and chilled water heating and cooling options, power exhaust, and energy recovery.
Valent’s DOAS units are engineered to provide high quantities of outdoor air with tight humidity control and flexible temperature control options. All casings come with injected foam for superior thermal performance and sound suppression. Designs are highly configurable, and airflow across the product offering is available from 800 to 29,200 cfm. The packaged cooling range is from 3 to 100 tons. Heating capacity is up to 2,000 mbh with an indirect gas furnace or 230 kW with electric heat.
