The new Valent VR-100 rooftop unit (RTU) delivers 3–5 tons of packaged DX (PDX) cooling in Valent’s smallest unit size. It rounds out the VR product line designed to simultaneously control temperature and humidity through modulating features that take efficiency and comfort to the next level.

- Inverter scroll compressors optimize efficiency by modulating their speed at part load conditions.
- Modulating indirect gas furnaces control temperature more precisely than staged furnaces.
- Double-wall injected foam construction minimizes sound transmission and air leakage, delivering higher thermal efficiency.
- An electronically commutated (EC) motor in the condenser fan modulates to control head pressure, saving energy and operating costs.
- Direct drive supply and exhaust fans provide modulation capabilities for variable air volume (VAV) systems across a wide performance range.
