DOAS and high outdoor air units require sophisticated controls for reliable and efficient operation across a wide range of operating temperatures. Factory mounted embedded controls optimize unit performance and component life.

Factory Programmed For Reliable Control

Valent's pre-configured controls provide the following benefits:

  • Intuitive operation using a standard web user interface or handheld display.
  • Proven DX refrigeration control of compressor staging, condensers, and oil management.
  • Energy-efficient sequences including control of condensing pressure, energy recovery, inverter scroll compressors, and CO2.
  • Advanced DOAS comfort control including independent temperature and humidity control, and multiple- or single-zone VAV.

Pre-Configured For Fast Start-Up

With selectable sequences pre-programmed with factory defaults, Valent controls are wired and ready for an easy and fast start-up. Simply enable unit operation from the keypad or integral web page and the unit is operational.

Web Screens Make It Easy

Every Valent unit includes a standard web user interface, which is often more intuitive than the controller's hand-held screen, and it has a larger viewing area. From the browser screen you can:

  • See system overview at a glance.
  • View all unit points in one location.
  • View and/or initiate all manual overrides from one screen.
  • Easily connect to BACnet, LonTalk, or Modbus and field-modify protocols as needed at the job site.
  • View refrigeration details on-screen that typically need to be gathered using gauges, including subcool and superheat information.
  • Troubleshoot alarms and see live trending.
